Sean Carey
Sean is a Sydney based singer songwriter who creates a beautiful blend of dark, emotive pop. Fusing influences of Jeff Buckley, Rufus Wainwright, Ryan Adams and Neil Finn the "song" always comes first — following that, beautiful melodies and soaring vocals.
Sean is also the Guitarist for Sydney band Thirsty Merc and front man of Midnight Swim (on hiatus!). He is currently putting together a solo record of his most recent and best work.
Debut Solo Album
Finally, it's on its way. Although plenty has happened to distract Sean Carey from his solo career — touring, producing and engineering — the album, which is expected to launch in October 2009, will contain nothing but the best of his music.
